BDop Alloy Stems are 3D forged from 6061-T6 alloy and designed to be both light weight and durable.
BDop Alloy Stems have several features that make them carbon friendly.
First, we designed the steerer clamp bolts to cinch from opposite directions thereby spreading the load more evenly. This reduces stress on your steerer tube.
Next, we made sure the four-bolt faceplate spread clamping forces evenly and had properly rounded edges to avoid creating stress risers in carbon bars.
Lastly, we thought we'd sex the stem up a bit by using titanium bolts.
BDop Alloy Stems are available from 90mm~120mm and are designed for 1 1/8" forks and 31.8 alloy or carbon handlebars.
BDop Alloy Stems have a 6 degree rise.
